(Eagle News) — Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel Jr. has died.
He was 71 years old.
According to his family, Pimentel died in his sleep on Tuesday, Dec. 25, a day after he checked out from the hospital.
Details about his wake have yet to be announced.
