SWS: 71 percent of Filipinos satisfied with Duterte’s performance; increases in his ratings seen across geographical areas, socioeconomic classes

(Eagle News) — A whopping 71 percent of adult Filipinos are satisfied with President Rodrigo Duterte’s performance, a 10-point rise from the net satisfaction rating he got in September, the Social Weather Stations said.

The 71 percent translates to a net satisfaction rating of +58, classified by the pollster as very good.

Only 15 percent were undecided, and 13 percent were dissatisfied.

In September, Duterte got a +48 net satisfaction rating, classified as good.

Increases across all geographical areas

Duterte’s net satisfaction ratings based on the survey done from December 8 to 16 increased across all geographical areas.

In Balance Luzon, it saw an increase of 14 points from his original rating in September.

In Metro Manila, there was an increase of 11 points; in the Visayas, 10 points; and in Mindanao 3 points.

Overall, Duterte’s net satisfaction rating stayed excellent in Mindanao, at +80 in December 2017, up by 4 points from +76 in September.

In Metro Manila, it rose by one grade from good to very good at +55.

This was an increase of 11 points from the +44 he got in September.

Duterte’s net satisfaction rating in the Visayas also rose by one grade, from good to very good.

The +53 rating he got was an increase of 10 points from his rating in September.

In Balance Luzon, his net satisfaction  rating saw an increase of 14 points from his rating in September.

The +50 rating he obtained was classified as very good by the pollster.

This is a notch higher than the good he got in September.

Increases across classes

The President’s net satisfaction rating also saw increases across all classes.

It stayed at very good among members of class ABC.

The +66 rating he got was an increase of  9 points from the rating he got in September.

The President’s rating increased by a whopping 30 points among members of Class E.

This is a very good, according to the pollster, a grade higher than the good he obtained in September.

Duterte’s net satisfaction rating also rose by one grade–from good to very good—among members of class D.

The +57 he got was an increase of 8 points from the score he obtained in September.
