QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine National Taxi Operators Association will petition the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to return the taxi flag-down rate to PHP 40.00 due to the oil price hike. The current flag down rate is P30. The group is also asking for a PHP 5.00 increase for the additional rate every 2 minutes waiting time.
