(Eagle News)—–Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo attended the Cabinet meeting on Monday, May 7, amid calls for her to resign and an ongoing investigation into the Department of Tourism’s P60-million advertisements placement in her brothers’ PTV4 program.

In a picture provided by Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Teo was seen shaking hands with President Rodrigo Duterte, who has reportedly ordered the investigation.

Senator Nancy Binay is seeking for a separate Senate investigation.

Teo has denied there was any conflict of interest in the ad placements, noting that her brothers’ Ben and Erwin Tulfo’s program had high ratings.

She said the contract for the ad placements  also underwent a review from the DOT’s legal department.

The Commission on Audit had red-flagged the project, saying it was not supported by necessary documents.
