TESDA to train 100,000 construction workers for gov’t’s “Build, Build, Build” program

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will train 100, 000 construction workers for the government’s “Build, Build, Build” program to fast-track the administration’s infrastructure projects.

“This is only an initial training for the Build, Build, Build alone. The government’s infrastructure projects will give employment to the people,” Tesda Director General Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong said.

The trainees will come from the poor, the indigenous people and rebel returnees.

Mamondiong said that all the 122 TESDA training centers will be open on Feb. 27-28, 2018 to accept applicants.
