The Iglesia Ni Cristo Heritage Site in Hawaii: The site of the first INC worship service in the West

On July 27, 1968, the Iglesia Ni Cristo held its first worship service outside the Philippines at 1782 Bond Street, Ewa, Oahu in Hawaii. It was officiated by the late Executive Minister Brother Erano G. Manalo, father of the current INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. This gathering held in Ewa Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii marked the establishment of the first congregation of the Church in the West.

On July 27, 2018, on the INC’s 104th anniversary since it was first registered in the Philippines, the Church dedicated an 810-seater new building of worship in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.  This special worship service, was officiated by INC Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, which was the highlight of the INC’s celebrations worldwide of the 50th year of its foreign mission.

The INC’s first house of worship in Ewa Beach has been declared a heritage site in Hawaii.
