SEPTEMBER 14 (Reuters) — The romantic thriller “The Perfect Guy” starring Michael Ealy, Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and Rutina Wesley took the top spot at the box office, bringing in $26.7 million in ticket sales.
It narrowly edged out the horror film “The Visit” that brought in $25.7 million.
Sony’s faith-based drama “War Room” took third place and “A Walk in the Woods” starring Robert Redford was in fourth place.
“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” rounded out the top five, bringing in $4.1 million for the weekend of September 11 through 13.
