QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Three key positions in the Philippine Army will be vacated due to the retirement of three army generals.
The three generals who are set to retire are Major General Demosthenes Santillan, Vice-Commander of Philippine Army who will retire on Sept. 8; Brigadier General Leoncio Cirunay of the Armed Forces of the Philippine (AFP) Reserve Command who will retire on Sept. 15; and Major General Jet Velarmino of the 8th Infantry Division who will retire on October 6.
