QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – Tourist arrivals in the first ten months of 2017 have increased.
According to the Department of Tourism, there is an 11.54% increase in the number of tourists who visited the Philippines in the first 10 months of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016.
The DOT said international arrivals for the 10-month period have reached a total of 5,474,310 compared to the 4,908,017 of the same period last year.
DOT Secretary Wanda Corazon Tulfo-Teo said that South Korean nationals had the highest number of tourist arrivals, followed by Chinese nationals.
