(Eagle News) — Tropical depression “URDUJA” has crossed Palawan and is now moving towards the West Philippine Sea, according to the country’s weather bureau, the Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Scattered rains will continue over Palawan, as residents of these areas are advised to undertake all appropriate measures against flooding and landslides.

Palawan is still under storm signal number 1 as Urduja is forecast to still be at 270 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City by Tuesday.

PAGASA said that sea travel is not advised over the seaboards of Palawan due to the effect of tail-end of a cold front.

Scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over CALABARZON, Bicol region and provinces of Aurora, Mindoro, Marinduque and romblon.

Tropical depression Urduja is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between tomorrow morning and afternoon.
