According to the United Nations World Food Program Country Director Praveen Agrawal, said organization will distribute food, trucks and even satellite phones to help those who were affected by the typhoon.
Agrawal added that they are waiting for the coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to deliver said supplies to eastern Visayas and Bicol.
The World Food Program has 260 metric tons of high-enegy biscuits, 4, 000 metric tons of rice and 130 metric tons of ready – to – use supplementary food in its warehouses in the country.
