QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – House Appropriations Committee Chair Carlo Nograles warned government officials that they will be removed from their positions if they will not use all of their budget.
Nograles said that under-utilization of the budget allocated for them means that the government officials concerned are not fully giving the level of service needed by the public.
He said this is also based on the statement of President Rodrigo Duterte who does not want underspending during his administration.
