The first Zika virus case in the United States of America was recorded in Texas with the Dallas County Health and Human Services announcing that the person contacted the virus due to personal contact with a person coming from a country affected by Zika.
The health department added that the public should be more careful as the Zika virus can be transmitted through close and personal contact.
