(Eagle News) — A University of Pangasinan graduate has topped the nursing board exams held in June.
Based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Tuesday, June 19, Mark Tristan Pangilinan Robosa garnered an 87.6 percent rating.
He was followed by Andrew Rey Lao del Fierro, Philip Gabriel Gillegao Gimotea, both of Xavier University; Deanna Corinne Enano Serrano of Bicol University-Legazpi; and Sherwynne Paola Lasam Trinidad of St. Paul University-Tuguegarao; who all got an 87.2 percent rating.
In third place was Frances Isabela Cortez Seno of Velez College, with 87 percent.
The PRC said of the 9873 who took the exams in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga, 4,326 passed.
The top performing schools were West Visayas State University-La Paz, Velez College and Xavier University, with a 100 percent passing rate.
The University of Pangasinan had a 90.63 percent passing rate, Bicol University-Legazpi a 89.19 percent passing rate, Ateneo de Zamboanga University with 88.6 percent, Adventist University of the Philippines with 84.91 percent, and Universidad de Sta. Isabel, with 82.14 percent.
