(Eagle News)–Coach Bo Perasol won’t be calling the shots for the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in their next three games.
This was after the University Athletic Association of the Philippines Inc. meted out the suspension against him over his outburst that saw him charging to the court and making a fighting stance against one of the referees in the UP versus Ateneo game on Sunday, Sept. 29.
Perasol was ejected from that game as a result, with 6:23 minutes left in the third quarter.
Ateneo went on to win the game.
In meting out the suspension, the UAAP found Perasol “committed flagrant acts of aggression toward the calling official after being restrained repeatedly by the UP Fighting Maroons team members.”
“Any team member…serving their game suspension shall not be allowed in the playing venue,” the UAAP said.
