The two uploaders and the cellphones they used in uploading the videos of the Mamasapano tragedy are now in the hands of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
NBI Anti-Cybercrime Division Chief Ronald Aguto confirmed and was able to identify them after the forensic examination, yesterday.
The first video showed a wounded Special Action Force (SAF) member being shot twice in the head at very close range by an unidentified gunman.
Another video was then uploaded and went viral on social media. The video showed alleged Moro rebels, laughing and cursing while shooting at the SAF policemen.
According to the reports, the two uploaders of the videos, whose names were withheld by the NBI, surrendered in Davao City and are now currently under their custody in Cotabato and in Kidapawan City.
Aguto said that they are still in the process of enhancing the quality and resolution of the videos for further identification of the men who were seen firing at the SAF policemen.
Aguto also warned the public that those who will be found selling and reproducing copies of the Mamasapano clash videos can also be criminally charged.
