WASHINGTON D.C., United States of America – In response to the militarization of China in the disputed territories in the West Philippine Sea, the United States of America sent a naval carrier strike group which is composed of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, supported by two cruisers and two frigates. According to the US Navy, said deployment is a way for the US to maintain a presence in the area and in order to preserve the freedom of navigation in the West Philippine Sea.
