SUBIC, Zambales, Philippines – The United States Navy sent a submarine and a guided-missile cruiser in a routine port of call in the Indo-Asian region. Said vessels arrived at the Philippines in a time were the region is under rising tensions due to China’s militarization in the disputed areas in the West Philippine Sea.
