QUEZON City, Philippines – Despite President Rodrigo Duterte’s challenge to the United States of America and the European Union to stop the giving of financial assistance, the US will not withdraw their financial aid to the country.
United States State Department spokesperson John Kirby said that they already heard of the challenge and that although it does not represent the good relations between the US and the Philippines, the US government will not stop or reduce the aid that it gives to the Philippines.
