(Eagle News) — The Philippine ambassador to the United States and other Philippine envoys assigned in the US and Canada congratulated Eagle Broadcasting Corporation on its 50th anniversary on April 26, as they wished the media corporation more years of success.
Philippine Ambassador to US Jose Manuel “Babe” Romualdez noted the long years of public service and information dissemination of the media network which has bureaus and correspondents abroad.
“On behalf of the Philippine embassy in Washington DC, I wish to congratulate Eagle Broadcasting Corporation on its 50th anniversary, he said.
“Since 1968, EBC has delivered a true public service, by providing news and information to Filipinos in the Philippines and in Asia, Europe and North America, Happy golden anniversary to EBC. I’m wishing you 50 more years of success,” Romualdez added.
Consul General Maria Theresa Dizon De Vega of the consulate in New York, Vice Consul in Washington Darell Ann Artes, and Consul General Joselito Jimeno in Honolulu also sent their greetings to EBC.
Philippine Ambassador in Canada Petronila Garcia also congratulated EBC on its golden anniversary.
“I think that Eagle Broadcasting Corporation has come a long way in the past 50 years and I’d like to congratulate on its 50th year,” she said. (Eagle News Service)
