VCM’s in some precincts in New Era Elementary School suffered glitches

Lines swell up as some Vote Counting Machines encountered technical problems in New Era Elementary School

The Vote Counting Machines (VCM) in some precincts in New Era Elementary School suffered technical problems.

In Precinct 3489A, casting of votes was stopped for over an hour because the VCM won’t accept the ballots. The Commission on Elections sent a technician to check the dysfunctional machine and was operational after 45 minutes of repair.

Meanwhile, there were also reports of  a technical glitch in the VCM in Precinct 3468B, Cluster 1648, in the same polling place. According to some voters, the VCM in the said precinct rejects ballots containing votes for presidential bet, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

But in general, the voting in New Era Elementary school was peaceful and orderly with the precincts opening on schedule.
