Vigan City in Ilocos Sur is chosen as the one of the New 7 Wonder Cities of the World (N7WC).
The announcement was made last December 8 (Monday) via electronic media by N7WC foundation President Bernard Weber. The other cities declared as among the New Seven Wonder Cities of the World are Beirut, Lebanon; Doha, Qatar; Durban, South Africa; Havana, Cuba; Kuala Kumpur, Malaysia; and La Paz, Bolivia.
