“Defiance of the rule of law” is how Vice-President Jejomar Binay Sr described the efforts of the Office of the Ombudsman, Department of Justice (DOJ) and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) to continue the implementing the suspension order against his son, Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay Jr.
Said agencies said that the temporary restraining order issued by the Court of Appeals is moot and academic because the Makati Vice-Mayor already took his oath.
