Reuters – Zayn has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with his first solo release outside of One Direction, “Mind of Mine.” The album, which sold an equivalent of 157,000 copies, makes Zayn the only male U.K. solo artist to debut at No. 1 with their first album, according to Billboard. The album is led by its first single, “Pillowtalk,” which debuted at the top of the Billboard 100 chart in February.
Landing at No. 2 is K. Michelle, whose album “More Issues Than Vogue” sold 59,000 units; Rihanna came in at No. 3 with “Anti;” Justin Bieber secured the No. 4 spot with “Purpose;” and rounding out the top 5 five is Adele’s “25.”
